Potty Training week??

Well my 2 year old is still not trained but he does good for the most part. Especially if we are out he has not had one accident, better knock on wood. LOL! He doesn't go but we make an effort to stop in to a potty to try. We were so proud of him using #2 on the potty at least 3 times now! Just wish he would tell us the other times. I know he will get the hang of it but all this laundry is killing me.

Potty Training #2

So now that my youngest is 2 we have started potty training him. He seems to be easy at first then its just accident after accident grr!! I know we will get through this just a lot of laundry and baths. He does pretty good at night and during nap. If he does have an accident then he comes right to us and says. I have tried setting a timer and making him go every 30mins but I found he can hold it longer so I set it for an hr now. Its reminder for me to ask him and he knows that when it goes off to go to bathroom. Thats what we started this week so I'll let you know how it goes.

Proud Mommy!!!

So we put our 2yr old in his pull up last night and then underwear in the morning. He asked to go potty and went then we went in pool and afterwards he put his underwear on again and used the big boy potty 2 more times and he told us he had to go. Then later on he asked to go again but asked for me to step out well when I came back to check he was sitting on the toilet instead of standing he had done all day. I asked him if he was finished he told me no. About 10mins later he says 'oh mommy yukie mommy yukie' and I looked and he pooped. I was so happy I screamed. What a day of progress?! Only when it was time to go to bed did he have an accident. But all day he wore underwear and would tell us he had to potty. I'm so happy and hope it continues!! Then one down one to go!Thanks for all the advice from everyone!!

So Happy!!

This morning when I was getting my 2yr old dressed for the day I asked him if he had to potty he told me no and put his pull up on so I did. I finished getting him dressed and got my 1 yr old dressed and here come the oldest 'I pee pee mommy' he says. I was just happy he knew he did and was able to tell me so I here I go changing him again. The rest of the day he said nothing else about it. While we out at the store later in the day he asked to potty and he went YAY!!! We got home from shopping and his pull up was dry and then when it was time for him to go to bed he asked to potty and went YESSS!! I am one proud happy mommy!! Lets hope he continues!! He is out of pull ups and I'm not buying anymore!

Potty training with 2yr old

So, we really tired working on it this weekend. My 2yr old did agree to put his big boy underpants on but had accidents all day. He is smart because he had to do #2 and he brought me his pull up to put on I refused until he tried to potty. So, 5 books later he still did not use the bathroom. Sometime later when I was asleep he did #2 in his pull up and his dad had to change him. Well Sunday morning he woke up and asked to potty and he stood up and HE DID!!! I was so happy! Half asleep I managed to tell him how happy I was and glad! All day no accidents then we went to beach so you know he went in the water. But before he went to sleep he went potty and did not wet pull up all night. Monday he did not want his big boy underpants. We went to gym but he did not ask to potty all day until it was time to go to sleep and he went!!
so, I guess if he just goes at night its a start and I'm thankful for it.

STILL IN MY BED

Okay the boys are still in my bed and its mostly my fault for just giving up but I'm getting Slade's bed this weekend and he is getting his own room and Sloan too and my goal is to have them out of my room by MONDAY!! Wish my luck!

Update on boys!

Okay my boys did not stay in their beds very long. They are back in my bed. When I get off after midnight I put them back in their bed and here they come and at 4am in the morning I'm just too tired to take them back again. This week I am determined to get them out.
My oldest he has no desire to wear his big boy underwear and will not sit on the toilet grr!! Not sure how to handle that.
If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to share.
Thank you

Big Boy Bed, Big Boy Potty

Today was a great day my oldest who is 2 used the big boy potty for the first time. I started crying. I really hope he continues with it. My parents gave him a twin size bed so he got that Monday and is doing good sleeping in it. I'm so proud of him. He has also started making more complete sentences and says more things everyday. Its crazy how fast they grow. I don't know what I am going to do when he goes to school but cry some more.
Well my youngest who is 1 we moved him to the toddler bed now. He does good sleeping in it. He likes being able to get in and out of it not like the crib. He is starting to talk more and understand more everyday.
My babies are getting big so fast!

My first night with no kids!

Last night was the first night in about two years I slept with out having to get up to feed or check on a baby or even go to the bathroom.
My two year old use to love going to bed sometimes he would tell us good night and head to his room but the last month or so he has ended up in my bed. First, it started with getting up with his dad in the morning and then in the middle of the night and then he just would not go to bed in his room. Now, my other son just turned one and stopped nursing at night so I decide to put him in his crib that is in the room he shares with his older brother. So, Monday night was the first night we tired this, my oldest son cried and screamed till finally I put him in bed with my husband because I had to get my hours in for work. Now the baby slept int he crib for the first time all night by himself, I was so proud. Next night Tuesday, put both of them in there was not going to let anyone out this time, I was determined. They cried and cried, I kept going in the to put them back in their bed and lay them down. I would say the baby slept off and on waking up with his brother screamed for too long but for the most part he was good. The oldest just kept getting up and throwing his pillow and blanket over the gate. Finally, I stayed with him until he went to sleep. About 2am I got up because the oldest one was screaming crying at his gate with pillow and blanket thrown over the gate again. I went in there put him back in his bed, turned his music on and waited until I thought he was asleep as soon as I got to the door he jumped out of his bed crying mommy. I decided to lay back down and see if he would cry it out. After trying to sleep over his crying and screaming I got up and it was an hour and half later. I opened my door to find him sitting at the gate with his legs through it screaming crying, lights on and blanket and pillow thrown over the gate again. I really don't know how my baby did not wake up during all of this, I'm sure he did sleep good. I decided at that point I would probably have to sleep in there, so I grabbed the mattress pad someone made for the playpen, my pillow and blanket and laid down in their room on the floor. I did not sleep good at all and my oldest woke up bright and early 3 hours later. I thought there is no way he slept enough I know I did not. Needless to say it was a rough day. Now nap time is a different story they play but then they go to sleep no crying or screaming. So, lets continue on to Wednesday, I put them both in their bed and waited a couple minutes and then left. About, an hour or so later the baby woke up crying and the oldest was awake too so I stayed for a couple minutes and then let them cry it out, not very long. So peace and quite until 4am the oldest woke up and I put him back in his bed and stayed for a couple minutes then went and laid back down. No one else got up or cried until about 8 when I awoke to them laughing and playing. I was so happy, I took them to the beach and out for pizza. Now last night I put them to bed and did not go back on their room until morning. It was great!! I thought after Tuesday night it could not have gotten any worse and uphill we went!! I am so proud of my boys and thankful for my bed back!!
