Disney World for FREE!

Well we recently just went to Disney World for FREE! Yes, I said FREE!! We were in Orlando, FL for some family time with my parents, my little sister and older sister and her family. I decided to play around on my dad's laptop and check my email and myspace. While on myspace I saw a posting from someone I went to high school with and it said 'I have free tickets to disney for someone'. I thought no way, so I emailed her and asked what free tickets?. She responded the next day that she had tickets to DisneyWorld for Saturday morning in exchange we would have to be at the park by 7am to be part of the Christmas Parade and after that we can stay at park the rest of the day. I counted heads and realized we needed 9 tickets. I became sad thinking that was a lot and she probably only had 4 or something. To my surprise she ahd 9 that I needed. I was so happy and told my family. I waited to tell my 2yr old until we had the tickets. So friday afternoon my friend came by and dropped off all tickets. We told my 2yr old and my sister's son who is 2 as well. They were so happy. We explained we would be going to see Mickey Mouse. I thought getting them up that early would be hard but it really was not. We were staying about 10mins from the park so it was an easy commute. While at the park my sister talked to a lady standing next to us waiting for the parade and she said Disney does this every year and you just go to the website and print the tickets out but she did not know exactly when they open it up because her tickets were given to her by a friend who could not make it to the parade. If I know around about a time when Disney offers them I will post. We ended up staying at the park until 10pm I was very surprised. The dads and little sister went home to watch the SEC champsion game at 3pm and my littlest and my sisters baby left with grandparents at 5 and my sister and her oldest and me and my oldest stayed to ride a couple more things and watch the night parade and fireworks. The boys had such a good time. I thought they were too young to ride a couple of things but I was surprised they could ride everything that we attempted and the babies could too. We had an awesome time and will never forget it. I think I only ended up spending $40 and that was on lunch, snack and dinner. Oh and we got free button that said my first time at disney for all four boys. If you go to City Hall when you first get into the park they have buttons for free and they have ones that say happy birthday or anniversary. I never knew that!

Real at home JOB!

I am a stay at home mom of two little boys and going back to work is not an option for us. After much searching and doing other business opportunities (which I still do) I found babytobee.com. Big Boy Bed, Big Boy Potty

Today was a great day my oldest who is 2 used the big boy potty for the first time. I started crying. I really hope he continues with it. My parents gave him a twin size bed so he got that Monday and is doing good sleeping in it. I'm so proud of him. He has also started making more complete sentences and says more things everyday. Its crazy how fast they grow. I don't know what I am going to do when he goes to school but cry some more.
Well my youngest who is 1 we moved him to the toddler bed now. He does good sleeping in it. He likes being able to get in and out of it not like the crib. He is starting to talk more and understand more everyday.
My babies are getting big so fast!

Special K update week 3

So, I did not measure myself like I said I would I have such a forgetful memory but I do know this I am down at least a jean size if not a little more. My clothes don't look painted on and I have room to breath and that is what really matters to me not numbers. Now I do know I have lost 3lbs! I am happy and have continued to eat special K in morning and for snacks but have not stuck to the plan meal they have mapped out. School GRRR!!!

School is stressing me out well just one class. My psychology teacher ask so much of us. Its like HELLO I take online classes for a reason because I am a wife, mother, work and go to school. She changes due dates and I am not talking extending them. I know psychology is a much harder subject but she expects us to post 4 times a week ALL of the online classes I have taken is post one and reply to one other person. Then with these papers, I ask her questions because I have not written a paper in a long time and never even written a APA format paper and she takes a week to get back to me. GRRR!! I know I'm complaining and really try not to but I feel better now getting this off my chest!!

End of week 3-Special K

Okay, I did not do good this week. We were so busy with school and running around I just ate out for lunch. I am going to get back on the diet TOMORROW. I have some snack bars and cereal, I just need to run to store to get waffles, water and protein bars so I have plenty on hand and variety for the week, actually for the next two weeks. Sorry, no leg magic this week

I know I was going to get back to you about the leg magic results but I have been super busy with school work. My mind is gone sometimes and I forgot I was going to do it everyday. I am going to try to later on once I'm done with my paper and catching up on household things. I want to make sure I do it everyday to test for results.

Spray and Wash warning

"Well I just wanted to write and warn all moms about the bullet I THANKFULLY dodged tonight. Micah (my 2 yr old) got a hold of a Spray and Wash bottle this afternoon and sprayed Kaitlynn(my 1 yr old) with it. Her hair was soaked so I gave her a bath being careful not to get in her eyes. She seemed fine so I did not think anything more of it. Well a few hours later both her eyes were so swollen she could barely open them and they were really red. She was screaming and hurting so bad I wanted to cry with her! So I called poison control. They said get her to the hospital immediately. So we did and they took her straight back. Here I am thinking it is just irritation from soap what harm could it be. WELL little did I know!! There are 2 types of spray and wash one with enzymes and one without. The one with enzymes literally eats your eyes. The DR told me if that was the one they got a hold of then she is already blind and they would have to get an eye surgeon there right away! I was terrified. My DH had to run home to go get the bottle and bring it back to the hospital. In the meantime they put Lidocaine and some drops in her eyes to make them glow so they could look at them. Well THANK GOD it was not the Spray and Wash with the enzymes! She is just hurting really bad and they said it will heal with time. When I got home I checked the other bottle of Spray and Wash we have and it DOES have the enzymes and carries a warning that says it is corrosive to the eyes. So I just want to warn other moms out there and tell you to check yours! If it does have the enzymes the DR said to throw it away or bolt it down because it is EXTREMELY dangerous! I would have never thought it would be but I learned a lesson tonight and just wanted to share it with you!!!!!!"

Leg Magic

I have been wanting this leg magic workout machine ever since I have seen it on TV at like 3am. I know... I sound crazy but my legs are my biggest problem. Even when I was a size 1 I was not happy with my legs. So, I am going to use it for 10mins a day for a week starting tomorrow and see what I see after one week. It was real easy to put together and does not take up a lot of space. I tested it out to be sure I put it together right, seems simple enough. I will let you know after a week....

Special K at 2 weeks

I am very happy with the Special K challenge. Today is the end of week 2 and my clothes fit so much better. Now, I have to say that I did not follow it to the exact because I was only able to buy the cereal at first and then I bought the snack bars and waters. I did not really feel hungry and the days I got hungry I just ate a snack bar. I tried to have veggies with my dinner and stopped eating past 7pm just drank water and stayed busy working. Now, during this time I did not exercise on a daily basis or do anything different. I have two toddlers so I think that is exercise enough chasing them down to change them or get back whatever they are not suppose to be playing with, LOL!! I will measure myself today and then in two weeks. I did not know my weight or size before I started. I will post another update in two weeks.....

Special K Diet

So, I bought Special K awhile back and I was going through my cabinet and it caught my eye. I saw on the box it said 'Drop a jean size in 2 weeks'. Um mm...I thought, I can do that what do I have to do eat cereal all day. So I continued to read eat special K in the morning and breakfast and have a regular dinner and can snack on special K bars. I decide to try it, this was Monday. Its now Sunday and I feel like I have lost some weight. I can tell in the way my clothes feel and in the mirror. I do not own a scale but I will try to get to one to see after the two weeks to see how much weight I have lost. I am very happy with the results so far. I don't find that I am hungry and if I do start to feel like I might need a snack I drink some water and eat a special K snack. The special K cereal and bars are very good, not anything nasty or flavorless. I would recommend other people to try it. I should have measured myself but I always see how my clothes fit to be the true test. I bought special K cereal and snacks when Publix had them buy 1 get 1 free and the snack 3 for $7 but I think walmart has them on sale this week. I have not done an exercise or anything different in my routine. Look for another update in a week!

The Secret!

Wow, I finally got to watch The Secret. I have been waiting to watch it or listen to it for over 1 almost. I started to listen to the CDs but I got them from my little sister who had them thrown around in her car and they were all scratched up and missing on CD. I started watching The Secret last Sunday and finish this Sunday a whole week to get through one DVD. They have some get information and stories and I believe that its true. We must focus on the things we want and start to feel good about them now. I had already created a vision board and a gratitude list, I think its important to know what you want out of life and to be thankful for the things in your life now. I even printed a check from The Secret website and posted above my bed so I can look at what my goal is everyday and focus on it for me and my family. My life is only going to get better from now on just by having a positive attitude and a vision of what my life will become.

My first night with no kids!

Last night was the first night in about two years I slept with out having to get up to feed or check on a baby or even go to the bathroom.
My two year old use to love going to bed sometimes he would tell us good night and head to his room but the last month or so he has ended up in my bed. First, it started with getting up with his dad in the morning and then in the middle of the night and then he just would not go to bed in his room. Now, my other son just turned one and stopped nursing at night so I decide to put him in his crib that is in the room he shares with his older brother. So, Monday night was the first night we tired this, my oldest son cried and screamed till finally I put him in bed with my husband because I had to get my hours in for work. Now the baby slept int he crib for the first time all night by himself, I was so proud. Next night Tuesday, put both of them in there was not going to let anyone out this time, I was determined. They cried and cried, I kept going in the to put them back in their bed and lay them down. I would say the baby slept off and on waking up with his brother screamed for too long but for the most part he was good. The oldest just kept getting up and throwing his pillow and blanket over the gate. Finally, I stayed with him until he went to sleep. About 2am I got up because the oldest one was screaming crying at his gate with pillow and blanket thrown over the gate again. I went in there put him back in his bed, turned his music on and waited until I thought he was asleep as soon as I got to the door he jumped out of his bed crying mommy. I decided to lay back down and see if he would cry it out. After trying to sleep over his crying and screaming I got up and it was an hour and half later. I opened my door to find him sitting at the gate with his legs through it screaming crying, lights on and blanket and pillow thrown over the gate again. I really don't know how my baby did not wake up during all of this, I'm sure he did sleep good. I decided at that point I would probably have to sleep in there, so I grabbed the mattress pad someone made for the playpen, my pillow and blanket and laid down in their room on the floor. I did not sleep good at all and my oldest woke up bright and early 3 hours later. I thought there is no way he slept enough I know I did not. Needless to say it was a rough day. Now nap time is a different story they play but then they go to sleep no crying or screaming. So, lets continue on to Wednesday, I put them both in their bed and waited a couple minutes and then left. About, an hour or so later the baby woke up crying and the oldest was awake too so I stayed for a couple minutes and then let them cry it out, not very long. So peace and quite until 4am the oldest woke up and I put him back in his bed and stayed for a couple minutes then went and laid back down. No one else got up or cried until about 8 when I awoke to them laughing and playing. I was so happy, I took them to the beach and out for pizza. Now last night I put them to bed and did not go back on their room until morning. It was great!! I thought after Tuesday night it could not have gotten any worse and uphill we went!! I am so proud of my boys and thankful for my bed back!!

Never enough time in my day!

You ever feel like there is never enough time in your day. From the time I get up to the time I finally lay down I am going, going, going but I feel like I did not get everything done. I am a stay at home mom of two perfect little boys while going to school online and working from home. My day consist of getting up changing and feeding my kids, washing dishes, doing laundry, cleaning floors and high chairs and hoping to get some hours in while my kids nap after nap I start counting down until my husband comes up then I have to make dinner clean up and start doing some homework. Then once my kids go to bed I try to get some more hours in for work. I just feel like my to do list just keeps growing I make off two things and somehow five more things get added to my list.
